A little bit of art up in here. Up in here.

I cannot wait to go and see this...
Some of her work is quirky and off the wall but I have to say that I am inspired by all of it. The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is showing her works from July14th to October 8th 2012. Admission is pretty reasonable...$18 for grownups and free for 12 and under...I'll probably drag my family up to the city on the first Tuesday of the month because I'm a cheapskate and it's free on that day.

"Throughout her career, Sherman has presented a sustained, eloquent, and provocative exploration of the construction of contemporary identity, the nature of representation, and the artifice of photography. Her works resonate deeply with our visual culture, drawing from the unlimited supply of images from movies, television, magazines, the Internet, and art history. Today Sherman's work is the unchallenged cornerstone of postmodern photography."

You should go. Really.

Yours Truly,
